Our Product Standards

At Gilded Workbench, each piece of jewelry begins as a hand sculpted model that is cast in small batches to maintain quality that cannot be rushed or mass produced. We use materials sourced locally and each step of the process is proudly done using hands and hand operated tools here in the United States. Our production runs are intentionally small because we value attention to detail and longevity over volume. We cast our jewelry using brass and silver. We use solid brass for its strength and warmth, hand finish it and then plate it with a thick layer of 24K gold to give it our signature lasting glow for a substantial look. Our base materials are free of nickel. We stand behind the quality of our handcrafted jewelry. Imperfections in design are deliberate and we can only hope that your Gilded Workbench jewelry exudes the kind of joy that was integral throughout the process of conceptualizing and handcrafting it exclusively for you.

How to care for your jewelry

With time and use, it is expected that the jewelry may lose some of its luster. Silver will tarnish over an extended period of time as it's a natural process of oxidation. In order to ensure that your jewels live a long and beautiful life, please take care of them by follow these recommendations, also listed on the care card that comes with your order:

1. Please remove items before showering, swimming, working out or sleeping.
2. Please try to avoid direct contact with perfume and other skin/hair care products.
3. Please store your jewelry in the pouch your product arrived in, when not in use.
4. Gently clean using the polishing cloth sent with your order.
